makes in house 50 flavors of ice cream!! The fam got Kinder Bueno, Tiramisu, Bubblegum and I got this dairy free Mango Sorbet. So so good!

1 month of working out ~4 mornings a week and we out here the morning after daylight savings AND it was picture day at the kids school 😴 . Super proud of us !

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.

I can’t believe today just happened. I opened an art store. What! But also, “I” is wrong. We opened an art store. Myself, my partner, our children, my parents, my mother-in-law, my siblings, my Hillsborough community. Though I’ve been working tirelessly for almost a whole year to make this happen, the people around me have built me up to a place where I can be able to accomplish this huge feat.

There has been nothing but amazing love and support for this! My dream job! I cannot say thank you enough, I just can’t. This goofy smile of mine is how I feel every time I think about what I get to do.

Today was stunning (including my recollection of counting out a cash drawer, a feat I learned 21 years ago at a TCBY in Charlotte). Today was overwhelming! Today was happy and exciting and I’m so grateful I get to go do it tomorrow.

Thank you everyone. Mom&Dad, Mom K, Chapin, our kids, my beautiful siblings, Colleen, Luda, Hailey & Norah, Maggie, Jillian, Cassandra, Tony, Johnny, Lindsay at the SBTDC, Jim Parker & Emillee Collins. There are more I’m sure and I love you all.

OH! And my sweet partner got me a print from one of my favorite graphic designers and framed it to hang and remind me of my true mantra in life everyday. GAH 🎨😭❤️

Big things are happening!

Erin is opening a Fine Art Supply & Gifts retail store in Historic Downtown Hillsborough, NC. Ten months (or 30 years if we’re really counting) in the making and we’re hoping to open by November!

for the adventure as we post sneak peeks into transforming the space into something beautiful!

The name started it all: RAD

Hillsborough, NC restauranteurs Kate and Mick Carrol approached me about concepting and executing a brand launch for their newest food exploration: a food truck.

A play on the owners’ other restaurant Radius, without being tied as a “mobile version” of the same, the Gen X retro vibes were played up via the type selection, the bright colors, and some groovy shapes. Color waves in smoothly as a reference to the mighty Eno River, and an overlay of texture plays on halftone printing techniques that bring an old-style organic feel to the design.

With the truck being the primary source of branding there was a lot to fit in, especially considering the adventurous nature of the food brains behind the business that didn’t want to be tied to anything too concretely. How to represent a vibe versus a food was definitely a fun challenge.

With the branding and truck launched, I continue to design associated materials and am currently operating their social strategy (and content creation) with Erin Campbell Creative, which includes lots of great-smelling photoshoots!

Enjoy the spotlight of this really cool brand, and look forward to more features as I remember that I should probably show off more of my work!

That’s a wrap on this years gingerbread competition! Congratulations to the winners who garnered the most votes in their categories!!

To say we are happy with the results is such an understatement. What started with a series of excited phone calls led to a full-fledge event with amazing donations raised and plans for next years event in the works.

Thank you to the businesses who let us in their spaces to create displays, thank you to all of the gorgeous entries our townspeople made, thank you to our tireless volunteers who rushed around this event with us, thank you to MORE local businesses who donated prizes, thank you to every single donor who is helping to keep our neighbors from losing their places to live.

With sugar and spice and everything nice, we love our community and can’t wait for next year! @ Hillsborough, North Carolina
