🚨💸 FREE MONEY? NOT QUITE… 💸🚨

This morning, Hwy 196 near McDowell Rd looked like the opening scene of a heist movie — with cash flying through the air and folks hopping out of their cars thinking they just hit the jackpot.

Turns out, someone lost a bag full of “Motion Picture Use Only” money off the back of their truck, and the wind did the rest. The result? Dozens of fake $100s swirling around.

Our Traffic Unit managed to recover most of the bills but we’re still seeing a few rogue bills “floating” around.

Here’s your friendly reminder:
🚗 Getting out of your vehicle while in the roadway is extremely dangerous (and yes, illegal).
👮‍♂️ Trying to pass off these movie prop bills as real money is a felony — and no, "but it looked real" won’t cut it in court.

So, if you see one of these fake Benjamins tumbling across the road do like Elsa from Frozen and "let it go!"
