For anyone who has these instruments, the Lea County Center of the Arts will put them to great use for further education!
We’re gearing up for an amazing summer at the Lea County Center for the Arts, and we need your help.
This July, we’re launching something special: the LCCA Kids Music Lab. Our goal is simple: to give kids from all backgrounds the chance to explore, touch, and play a wide variety of musical instruments.
To make this happen, we’re asking our community to help us build a hands-on collection of instruments. We’re looking for donated instruments such as:
- Guitars (electric, acoustic, bass, and amps)
- Keyboards (lightweight, plug-in models)
- Stringed instruments (ukuleles, violins, etc.)
- Percussion (drums, cajóns, hand percussion, etc.)
- Electronic music gear (MIDI controllers, drum pads, etc.)
- Any other unique, playable instruments
Here’s the key: these instruments will be used directly by kids in the program, so we are asking for donations to the center rather than loans, for liability purposes.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all donations are tax-deductible.
If you have an instrument collecting dust, consider putting it into the hands of a young musician. You never know what passion you might help spark.
