Meta even encourages you to press this button… 🤦🏼‍♀️

But it’s straight up donating money to Zuckerberg.

The button? Right under your posts: Boost post.

Boosting a post and running ads are NOT the same thing. Not even close.

The worst part is Meta even calls it “turn your post into an ad” 🫠 (see previous carousel I made on that)

When you boost, you’re paying Meta to show your post to more people who you’ll never see again.

That’s it. No strategy. No funnel. No path to a sale. Just a one hit wonder.

Vanity metrics dressed up as marketing. Because it feels productive and that you’re “putting yourself out there.”

But you have no way to retarget people who saw your post, no tracking data, no backend system to keep selling to them.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t buy after seeing something usually for the first time.

Real ads in the ads manager (the kind that actually scale a business) are built with intention:

→ Finding high intent buyers and clients who will want your services (not just like them)

→ Audience targeting based on data gathered by tracking

→ A funnel & email that leads somewhere (hello, your actual offers) until they book or buy
