The branding world comes with tons of confusing lingo, so I'm here to break it down for you! ๐โฃ

A logo is extremely important for your brand identity and with that comes a few variations. But what are they used for? ๐คโฃ
โฃ
1๏ธโฃ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ด๐ผ - this is the main logo you would use to represent your brand. It should include your business name and maybe some imagery or an icon related to your industry or purpose. Your primary logo would be used on things like your website, marketing materials, and business cards.โฃ

2๏ธโฃ ๐๐น๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ด๐ผ - this is a second version of your logo that can be used where your main logo might not fit or look the best. A great example of this is on social media where the profile picture is small and circular, which your main logo might not be. It's good to have a variation on hand dependent on the situation!โฃ
โฃ
3๏ธโฃ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป - this is a small image that appears in the top left corner of your website page tab, usually the icon or initials of your brand. Although you might think it isn't important, it is definitely beneficial to have one to identify your website and provide consistent branding. Having one also increasing your professionalism and trust with customers. โฃ
