Hoboken Strategy Group's Vice President, Jess Murray, attended the 30th Annual Governor’s Conference on Housing and Economic Development. This conference brought together leaders from across the public and private sectors to discuss the future of housing and economic development in New Jersey.

Governor Mikie Sherrill delivered the keynote address, highlighting her Administration’s approach to expanding housing opportunities across New Jersey, including efforts to increase housing production, streamline the development process, and make housing more accessible and affordable for New Jerseyans.

We are grateful for the opportunity to hear from state leaders and industry professionals about the policies, partnerships, and strategies shaping housing and economic development across the Garden State.

Congratulations to the New Jersey Public Charter Schools Association on 30 years of supporting public charter schools, students, and communities across New Jersey!

The Hoboken Strategy Group team was proud to celebrate this milestone alongside NJPCSA Chief External Affairs Officer Danielle Alpert, Colleen Escow of the New Jersey Children’s Foundation, and River Crossing Strategy Group Executive Vice President Janellen Duffy, as well as educators, advocates, and leaders throughout New Jersey.

Last week, the Hoboken Strategy Group team was proud to join survivors, medical professionals, and representatives from the Alliance for Fertility Preservation and Garden State Equality in Trenton to testify in support of A-2281.

A-2281 would help ensure that patients whose fertility may be impacted by medically necessary treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation, have access to fertility preservation services. The bill passed the Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee with bipartisan support. Thank you to Chairman Freiman and the members of the Committee for their support.

Thank you to Joyce Reinecke, Dr. Stephanie Thompson, Dr. Jessica Mann, and Lauren Albrecht for sharing their expertise with the Committee, and to Roshni Kamta and Stephanie Maness for bravely sharing their personal experiences pursuing fertility preservation.

We express our gratitude to Assemblywoman Margie Donlon for sponsoring A-2281, and also recognize former Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt, the original sponsor of this effort, for her continued support.

We will continue to work to ensure that all New Jerseyans have access to this critical care.

The Hoboken Strategy Group Team recently took on a little friendly competition! Watson Adventures Scavenger Hunts put together an engaging, interactive, and perfectly challenging scavenger hunt through Princeton for our team.

We shared plenty of laughs, logged a lot of steps around campus, and put our problem-solving skills to the test. Thank you to Watson Adventures for such a fun team-building experience!

Last week, the Hoboken Strategy Group team joined Speaker Craig J. Coughlin for the 17th Annual Bowl for Hunger, joining businesses, organizations, and community members committed to combating food insecurity. We were grateful to have our clients, Arnold Ventures, the New Jersey Civic Information Consortium, and Solstice, join us in supporting this meaningful event.

It was a pleasure to have Assemblywoman Andrea Katz, Assemblywoman Carmen Morales, and Commissioner Cathleen Lewis on our team for the evening.

This year's event raised nearly $250,000, bringing Bowl for Hunger's total fundraising to more than $1 million over the past 17 years. HSG is proud to support Speaker Coughlin and the Bowl for Hunger in helping fight food insecurity for the residents of the 19th District. Some brought standout bowling skills, others brought the team spirit, but we all helped strike a win in the fight against food insecurity!
