Mimosa Digital / Perfectly Invited, a printing and stationery shop, is currently seeking a self-motivated, independent, reliable individual. The main portion of the job is to handle all of the print orders. Filling this position to the full capacity would mean:
-working on multiple projects simultaneously,
-working within a deadline-driven industry,
-having incredible attention to detail, and
-possessing the skill-set to work out some technical problems with computers as well as the printers.

In addition to having the skills listed above, we’re looking for someone who maintains a friendly and positive attitude while working. A “can-do” attitude is necessary as you will be responsible for handling the print production of jobs generated by the sales associates and graphic designers, and providing well-executed work to suit the customers’ project needs. When customers request for a job to be done a certain way that isn’t quite possible, we need you to be able to offer appropriate alternative solutions to help the customer accomplish what they are looking for.

You’re going to be multi-tasking and you’re going to be managing some projects. We want someone who looks at that with eagerness! It’s an exciting and fast-paced environment! You have to be comfortable figuring out solutions using different software and several different pieces of equipment. We also want someone who will talk to a customer and help them execute their project!

-Do you have a little retail experience that would come in handy?
Yes? Excellent! No? As long as you’re eager to learn, it’s something we can work on!
-Minimum requirement: working knowledge of the Adobe suite and MS Office.
-and a high school diploma or equivalent.
-Graphical training is a plus. Any art background is also a plus!

Your job duties will include the following, but custom projects and new machines might require you to change it up every once in a while. We hope this role interests you!

-Operate machines that print, finish and bind as well as video equipment
-Set-up the equipment, run jobs, proof final output and perform quality control
-Understand and make fine adjustments to equipment when necessary
-Perform regular and preventative maintenance on the machines
-As needed, interact directly with customers to provide solutions for their projects
-Help grow the business by suggesting other uses of existing equipment and solutions not currently advertised or offered to customers
-Paper is heavy. You will have to possess the ability to lift heavy cases of paper (up to 35 lbs.)
