I am a very fortunate person in many ways. When I retired from FireFighting, I needed to discover something to do and not to just sit around and do nothing! I decided to go into woodworking and I discovered it was an ideal vocation to keep me busy and happy!! I started to do things like FireFighter SCBA lamps and worked on a design, which I hope my “FireFighter Family” would be proud to own. I am blessed that I’ve sold a lot of them to my brothers and sisters FireFighters. I was thinking of a new product with continue with my retirement projects and am proud to announce my newest addition the wood carving is a Fire Hydrant Lamp. The Hydrant lamp measures approximately a height of 15”, top nut ¾”, wide 5 ½ “ . Please see the attached pictures of my newest project. I just completed the first ‘Prototype” version, and it came out beautiful and I am very proud of it! I plan to make these lamps from dead trees such as pine, oak, or other wood that I am discovering in Texas! The first one I made is at pine tree that fell on my own property. I have lots of trees that I can make my lamps, which should keep me busy for a while! Colors are red and silver however I can customize the colors which are available at a now nominal extra charge. The base is comprised of several green color shades, tan and dark brown colors. It actually looks like a location you might find on any street block, urban or country locations. The greatest advantage of this wood caved hydrant is it’s a lot lighter the actual fire hydrant . Wow!! What wonderful item for the FireFighter as it will be a great addition for your living room, office or an award for the Fire Departments special achievements. We hope to hear from you soon and we can provide you with a price quote for this beautiful creation. Please contact Vivian (my wife) or me for any question about this exciting new item!!
