That’s why we don’t offer Color Analysis online — natural light plays a huge role in seeing how certain colors can enhance your natural undertones. Without it, it’s nearly impossible to determine which shades truly make you shine!
In-person sessions allow us to work with the best natural light so you can see your true palette come to life. The impact of color is undeniable, but it needs to be done in the right environment to get the results that truly reflect YOU.
In fact, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we conducted extensive testing on online color analysis and found that guaranteed accuracy simply wasn’t possible. Most cameras use software and AI color correction algorithms, significantly altering colors and increasing the risk of misdiagnosis. Even the best cameras can’t replicate what is seen in person, making natural daylight absolutely essential!
As our UK trainer and process expert Brian Coyle explains,
“Good natural daylight is crucial to accurate analysis so that the illumination of the client is in full spectrum, with balanced cool and warm components to the light. Artificial light is almost always susceptible to a predominance of cool or warm light, which may affect the observations made during the analysis and the accuracy of the analysis.”
