📖 Coach Jenkins’ Team Store Challenge Series
Chapter 5: Haas Hall Academy – The Phone Call That Took the Challenge Beyond Ohio
Sometimes the next chapter begins with a simple phone call.
For Rick Jenkins and Fully Promoted Hollywood, that call came from someone who had been part of Rick’s story many years before—his former high school classmate, Renee.
Years after they attended Cardington-Lincoln together, Renee heard about the Coach Jenkins’ Team Store Challenge and reached out to Rick with a question:
Could Haas Hall Academy join the challenge too?
The answer was yes.
And that phone call represented something much bigger than adding another school.
Until then, the schools participating in the challenge all had personal connections to Rick’s life and journey in Ohio.
Cardington-Lincoln was where Rick grew up and where his story began.
Marion Harding represented a season of coaching that created friendships and relationships that lasted far beyond the football field.
River Valley became an important part of his coaching journey and eventually the place where Rick stepped away from coaching and began a new chapter as the owner of Fully Promoted Hollywood.
Mount Gilead brought the journey to a new generation, with Rick’s step-grandchildren attending school there.
Then came Renee’s phone call.
Suddenly, a challenge being run from Fully Promoted Hollywood in Florida, inspired by Rick’s roots and relationships in Ohio, was reaching all the way to Haas Hall Academy in Arkansas.
That was an important moment.
It showed that the Coach Jenkins’ Team Store Challenge didn’t have to be limited by geography.
The mission could work anywhere.
Support students.
Strengthen schools.
Bring communities together.
Haas Hall Academy joined the challenge, received its own professionally managed online spirit wear store, and its families and supporters got behind it.
And they’ve certainly answered the challenge.
🏆 Today, Haas Hall Academy currently sits in FIRST PLACE in the Coach Jenkins’ Team Store Challenge!
What started with one phone call from an old high school classmate has turned into a community hundreds of miles away embracing the same mission.
Every participating school receives a professionally managed online spirit wear store with:
🏈 No inventory to purchase
🏈 No order forms to collect
🏈 No money to handle
🏈 No minimum orders
And every purchase gives back, with $5 from every item sold supporting the participating school or organization.
Schools that reach $2,000 in fundraiser sales by October 31, 2026, also qualify for a chance to receive an additional $1,000 donation through the Coach Jenkins’ Team Store Challenge.
To Renee—thank you for making the phone call.
To the students, families, faculty, and supporters of Haas Hall Academy—thank you for answering the challenge and showing just how far this mission can go.
