Unfortunately, GCI is currently experiencing difficulties in providing telephone services today. I have been on the phone for half the day in an effort to obtain assistance. All of my phone lines are currently down.
Notably, after being transferred the times, when I contacted the support team, they inquired about the internet services associated with my account. However, I do not have, nor have I ever had, internet services through GCI. I'm going to have to take a closer look at my bill again. Last time they were charging me for several services that I hadn't ordered.

Pray for me that a technician will be able to visit tomorrow.

It was such a great time with all of the trick-or-treaters last night! Wonderful to see all of the mushrooms, Minecraft folks, bloody prom queens (I hope they watched "Carrie"!), fairies, and little ones!
Thanks to the Homer Chamber of Commerce for creating this annual Pioneer Avenue event. There were so many fun costumes that I forgot to take their pictures. :( I was Ursula with the Little Mermaid music and decorated the lobby as under the sea. Maybe somebody could join me as Sebastian next time!
Looking forward to seeing you all next year. Don't forget the magic phrase on Halloween is "Trick or Treat!" I'm considering a "trick" barrel and a "treat" for all those who forget. "Poor unfortunate souls!"

**So exciting — Rump's BBQ just opened in Homer!**
Of course I couldn’t resist stopping by on opening day, and wow… I can already tell this place is going to become a *very* tasty habit.

I ordered the Rump Combo with two sides: mac and cheese and potato salad. Being Hawaiian, I have pretty high standards for both — and let me tell you, they *nailed it*. The mac and cheese was creamy, flavorful, and not overly salty. The potato salad? Just as delicious.

Now, let’s talk about the Rump Sandwich. It was so good, I had to force myself to stop before I ended up in a full-on BBQ coma because it was *that* good (and massive!). It’s a generous, two-hands-needed kind of sandwich, and the sauce? Let’s just say I’m thrilled they sell it by the jar.

As for dessert, I’m honestly scared to try the pecan pie — it’s one of my favorites, and I’m not ready to commit to a new addiction. Then again… there are worse habits, right?

Friendly faces, amazing food, and dangerously good BBQ. Stop by, say hi, and bring your appetite!
