Earth Day | First Responders’ Day 2020
This Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, 2020, we have orchestrated a light display in honor of all of Hawaii’s (and the world’s) first responders who put others’ health and safety before their own. 50 beams of light (representing the 50th state) will be directed toward the Hawaii night sky at 8pm on Wednesday, April 22. The lights will be positioned at different locations across the island of O’ahu and should be visible from almost anywhere. Please take a moment to go outside this Wednesday at 8pm and look to the sky...let us give thanks to those who selflessly protect our kupuna, our keiki and our precious ohana. And—since it’s Earth Day—take a moment to pray for our ‘aina and Mother Earth. Mahalo
