Stephanie Hung is the talent behind Artists Save Waves. Traveling between Hong Kong and Honolulu at an early age has provided her with an appreciation and curiosity for diverse cultures as well as the environmental struggles that we all face as a global family.

Her passion for photography provides her with an artistic outlet when she is traveling and does not have her painting tools on the road with her.

Stephanie is currently in Hong Kong and was able to snap this image of two people taking a stroll along a colorful city market.

Aloha and meet our new summer intern, Karolyne Monico. Karolyne was born and raised in Houston, Texas and is currently studying at Hawaii Pacific University while majoring in communications and minoring in marketing. Some of her favorite activities include going to the beach, working out, and cooking nutritious meals. A fun fact about Karolyne is that she makes her own cold brew!

Aloha and meet one of our awesome summer interns, Hadyn Aguiar. She was born and raised in sunny Tulare, California and moved to Hawaii in 2019 for college. She is a senior at Hawaii Pacific University, with a major in Strategic Communication and a minor in Marketing. Her favorite activities are going to the beach, spending time with friends, and making her own malasadas. A fun fact about Hadyn is that she bargain shops and can tell you what stores have sales on any respective day.
