Enright Automotive's social media posts came into our feeds the other night as we started posting about the value of small business generated videos. We reached out to Chris Enright, the owner of Enright Auto and the guy that is in all the videos and we asked him if we could share his website and social media handles so everyone could see how it's done. It is important to note here, Enright Automotive IS NOT a client of McDunnden Communications. We did not help Chris in any way with anything. In fact, we don't know him. We simply like how he communicates and shares information.

Chris said: "I believe video is the future for business owners especially in automotive. It not only sheds light on our industry but also helps consumers get a behind the scenes look and see what goes on in a shop. Going into an automotive shop can be intimidating and overwhelming. Transparency is my mantra when I talk to people on social media and we are a shop that is honest and transparent."

We've been asked to write some interesting things over the years. A favorite was when one of our clients asked us to write a script for a voice actor who was recorded sharing anecdotes about Texas history. When customers were placed on hold, our scripts are what they heard (and still hear), along with some annoying hold music.

As small business owners, we should always be learning. Read this book years ago, and even though this was published in 1922, much of its themes and theories still stand true today. Understanding how the masses think is key to understanding how to communicate to them.

A few years ago we were fortunate to adopt a medically retired veteran. Max served as a bomb dog with Department of Defense and with TSA. We recognized his retirement by having a flag flown over the US Capitol.

Today is his . Please join us in wishing Max a happy birthday. He is 9 today. He is the unofficial mascot of one of our clients, and he is the uncontested, king of the couch.
