Happy 10th Birthday, Identity Plus LLC!
Ten years ago today, I filed the paperwork to create Identity Plus LLC. At the time, I wasn't looking for a new career—I was helping meet a need for a Minority/Woman-owned business. I never imagined it would become my full-time job, my passion, or most importantly my safety net.
But in February 2017, life had other plans.
We opened the doors to a small boutique shop on 11th Street in The Heights, filled with hope, determination, and a lot of faith. In 2018, one of the best decisions I ever made was bringing my son, Jared San Miguel, into the business as my Creative Partner. Then in 2019, we came home to the East End, settling into our location on Harrisburg Blvd, where we continue to grow today.
The journey has not always been easy. We've faced challenges, setbacks, and plenty of moments (more than I can count) that tested us. But through it all, we have been blessed by something far greater—people who believed in us.
To every client who trusted us with your brand, your vision, your event, or your idea... thank you.
To every employee who has been part of this journey... thank you.
To every friend, mentor, supporter, and community partner who encouraged us along the way... thank you.
Your trust has allowed us to build more than a business. It has allowed us to create opportunities, support our employees, and give back to the community that has given so much to us.
My mission has never changed: take care of my team and serve my community.
I am deeply grateful that Identity Plus allows me to do both.
