As with everything else this year, upfront negotiations were thrown wildly off-schedule, leaving some clients negotiating in the usual time frame while others changed to a calendar year upfront. As some states have returned to lockdowns over the past week or so, even those on the usual time frame are in a "holding pattern" because buyers don't want to lock in pricing with networks in case more lockdowns threaten the market. Some buyers also noted that the ratings erosion in prime time could get worse if production doesn't resume soon.

Reddit will begin publicly disclosing its political advertisers and how much money they shell out, the company said Monday.

This morning I read an article about companies taking their ad buy strategy in house and felt that if that was moving into the house, then so is the creative. I think I was right! The voice on this case study sounds like AI to me. It's possible it's just the VO's accent but I'm not sure. Either way, it's an awesome award winning campaign from Stabilo!

BEST blog post this week. Yesterday, a post from a colleague bothered me so much that it derailed my day. I even spoke about it to my husband at dinner. His reaction was much the same as Tom's. My Facebook groups have been a really great source for me. I will sometimes go there if I have a question or want to search for a thread about a certain subject. The problem comes when I don't close it after I get what I came looking for and end up wasting time or seeing a post that upset me the way that one did. Thanks for this Tom.
