At that time, HEW’s core business was monograms for individuals. During the next eleven years, core business was shifted away from monograms and was focused on a business-to-business marketing strategy. This shift fueled a growth of 20 times our size in 2002, and propelled us into the top 3% of all companies within our industry. Another major factor that contributed to this explosive growth was Mel’s twin sons, Mel Jr and Jerry, joining the company in 2005, after serving a tour in Iraq with the USMC. In 2013, HEW was restructured and Lamont Brands, Inc. We’re a HUB certified SDVOSB (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business). Our in-house capabilities include: screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, heat press transfers, vinyl cutting, eCommerce capabilities, and on-site fulfillment services.
