DC Howdy Perks “Ned” is a 6-year-old, 15.2-hand AQHA gelding with the kind of real-world foundation that is hard to find.

Born and raised outside in Idaho, Ned has covered serious country gathering and herding cattle, packing in the mountains and leading pack strings. He is exceptionally sure-footed and confident through creeks, bogs, logs, steep terrain and rough country. He has the bone, feet and durability to handle a job and has remained sound throughout his career.
Ned is kind and quiet, but he has plenty of motor when you ask for it. He has been used to sort cattle, will watch a cow and is started on both the barrel and pole patterns. With Sun Frost on his papers, he brings together cow sense, athletic ability and speed in one very versatile gelding.
He is easy to catch, comfortable to ride and dependable away from home. Whether you are looking for a serious ranch horse, a mountain and trail partner, or a performance horse with a strong foundation and room to go on, Ned has the experience and ability to step into a lot of different programs.
