Padrón & Co.

Padrón & Co. Full-service, Houston-based marketing, graphic design, & website design agency with a passion for working with nonprofits & small businesses.

Gracie Padrón and Alex Steimle formed Padrón Design Studio in 2017 with the goal of helping primarily performing arts nonprofits, tech startups, and small businesses define their visual brand. Over time, it became clear that nonprofits needed a deeper understanding of digital marketing to reach their diverse audiences. We hired the best designers and marketers in the industry to meet our clients’

needs. This meant expansion beyond graphic design and web development to offer a full lineup of digital marketing services.

Last night, part of the Padrón & Co team attended the 40th Annual Crystal Awards Gala hosted by AMA Houston. It was a privilege to be in the same room with so many marketing professionals and see the amazing work being produced in this city.

We were recognized for our Digital Marketing work via a Social Media Campaign for Houston Loves Teachers and their Rodeo Raffle. We are honored to be given this award and proud of all the work we submitted.

We’d also like to extend congratulations to our friends at Vision Production Group for being recognized for their Animation work!

This ceremony has left us feeling reflective and inspired for future projects. Until our next award!

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: Buffalo Soldiers National Museum’s Juneteenth @ 160
CATEGORY: Events, Tradeshows & Displays - Event Promotion & Marketing

The Center for African American Military History, also known as the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum (BSNM), is an institution dedicated to exploring and displaying the stories and contributions of African Americans in the military by way of performing and visual arts, educational programming, and exhibitions.

2025 marked the 160th anniversary of Juneteenth and BSNM produced a three-day festival focusing on the historical significance of the holiday. The celebration consisted of multiple activations across three locations encouraging attendees to learn, reflect, and connect.

The Padrón team worked with BSNM to establish distinct branding designed for all event uses, developed a fully integrated digital marketing campaign, and retargeted audiences for the various activations. From fundraising support, paid advertising, exhibition design, landing pages, QR codes, and day-of-signage, we designed, executed, or coordinated all print and digital collateral to bring BSNM’s vision to fruition.

Crystal Awards Finalist ✨ (2/4)

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: Houston Loves Teachers Rodeo Ticket Giveaway
CATEGORY: Digital Marketing - Social Media Campaign

Houston Loves Teachers (HLT) is a citywide initiative that does outreach and provides support for educators, both present and future. They accomplish this by providing opportunities for professional development and recognition for the positive impact they have on students and families.

Seeing that their outreach and engagement were plateauing, HLT started looking for new ways to connect with Houston-area educators. They decided to host a raffle for concert tickets at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with the goals of growing their social media following and their email list.

The Padrón team helped execute this campaign by drafting the official rules, designing the raffle branding, utilizing AI automation to prevent bottlenecks in responsiveness, and creating the landing page for raffle entries. The campaign resulted in over 800 followers across social media platforms and 1200+ emails to their lists in a single month.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: Kids’ Meals Website Redesign
CATEGORY: Websites - Small Budgets

Kids' Meals, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that’s dedicated to ending childhood hunger by delivering free, healthy meals to the doorsteps of Greater Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and, through collaboration, providing their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty.

Last year, we worked with the Kids’ Meals team to refresh and redesign their website by aligning their visual identity across all pages, improving usability for targeted audiences, and creating a scalable communications foundation to support future campaigns and expansion.

Launched in conjunction with World Hunger Day, this website redesign resulted in increased user traffic, increased local traffic, and an increased number of organic searches.

Gracie, Yanessa, and Daral attended the State of Giving and Nonprofits hosted by the Houston Business Journal. Accompanying them is Emily Pauley from the Houston Health Foundation.

As we specialize in working with nonprofits, we prioritize knowing what's important to the sector and what could potentially affect our clients. This panel discussion, with nonprofit and philanthropic leaders from the Greater Houston area, was full of personal anecdotes and data referenced from research across the nation.

Meg Booth, President & CEO of Performing Arts Houston, made a powerful statement that anchored the conversation: Change is the only constant, and being able to navigate that change is needed to operate in the nonprofit space.

As an organization that has helped clients pivot in moments of change, from the pandemic to federal funding restructures, we resonate with Meg's words deeply.

Thank you to the Houston Business Journal for hosting this informative event and bringing individuals from different sectors to the same space.

Our Content Marketing Manager, Daral attended the State of the Arts in Education Symposium hosted by Arts Connect Houston at the Asia Society Texas Center. They shared findings from their annual data report and had a panel of arts education leaders and champions discuss the current state of the arts in education.

“With my background in arts administration, I know better than most that the arts are more than a hobby or extracurricular activity. Participation in the arts is a livelihood, a lifestyle, and a core metric of community vibrancy. Panelist Devondria Doughlas made a call to action to help change the perspective of what the arts are - viable employment opportunities - and what they could be to our communities, and I couldn’t agree more.” -Daral
