This is one of those moments that reminds me why audits matter.

During her assessment, the bookstore owner mentioned she’d once hosted events — and they were always a hit. When I asked why they’d stopped, she said,
“Those people planned them. No one’s asked me lately.”

That was the real issue.
She had a space people loved. She had proof events worked.
