I am honored that I have been asked, and will serve, as the keynote speaker as special guest of Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.

April 22nd at the State of Michigan Capitol building.

I will be addressing the entire staff of our States Attourney General. I've been asked to talk about the importance of creating an environment of teamwork in the workplace.
We foster that feeling of family, all here for each other to reach our group goals together

Meet our February Feature: The Todd Family

When asked what they love most about Hudsonville, the Todds point to the way the community balances growth with a small town feel. They appreciate that their children continue to meet new people and form meaningful friendships while still feeling deeply connected to their community.

As Hudsonville continues to grow and evolve, the Todd family hopes it remains an inviting and inclusive place for all. They encourage neighbors to continue embracing change while accepting people for the uniqueness they bring. For Will, Darci, Raelynn, and Grant, Hudsonville is more than just where they live. It is where they have built a life filled with connection, growth, and memories that will last for years to come

Meet our first feature family of 2026:

Life in the Newton household is a balance of responsibility, creativity, and steady determination. For Matt Newton, a full-time, that balance has become both a necessity and a source of pride as he builds a life rooted in family, hard work, and community.

Matt’s goals for the future are grounded and intentional. He hopes to continue growing Newtons Handyman Service LLC steadily, serving homeowners with integrity and providing dependable, high-quality work. Just as importantly, he wants to set an example for his children—showing them what dedication, responsibility, and perseverance look like in everyday life.

Meet our December Feature: The Prins Family

There’s a certain kind of hum that fills the home of Mitch and Brooke Prins this time of year. It’s not just the sound of wrapping paper crinkling or a Christmas playlist on repeat. It’s laughter. It’s life. It’s the presence of seven little voices, some forever, some for now, each a part of a story bigger than anyone could have imagined.

For the past six and a half years, the couple has opened their hearts and home as foster parents. It’s a home for the holidays. A home for healing. A home built on faith. And for every child who enters its doors, home is exactly what it will be.

If you know of family to feature as we head into 2026, send them our way!

Meet our November Feature: The Aguilar Family

If you live in West Michigan, there’s a good chance you’ve heard his voice before. Whether you’re driving to work with a cup of coffee in hand or tuning in while getting the kids ready for school, B93.7’s Mike Aguilar has been part of your morning routine for years.

But when the mic turns off and the studio lights dim, Mike heads home to his favorite audience of all, his wife Ali and their three children. Together, the Aguilar family has found their place in Hudsonville, a community that Mike describes as the perfect mix of small-town warmth and big-hearted connection. Mike and his family believe in building connections, spreading kindness, and reminding people of the good that surrounds them.

Hear more about their story and love for community in our November issue.

Meet our September feature: The Tamminga family.

They believe Hudsonville is more than just a place to live, it’s a community that shapes lives. Whether its neighbors gathering for backyard wiffle ball games or local families stepping up to sponsor a Little League team, they see daily reminders of the values that make this city special. “We are grateful to raise our children in a community that supports one another,” they share. “Hudsonville is a place where families grow, friendships last, and people step up for each other. That’s what makes this home.”

We are always looking for families to feature, reach out if you are interested or would like to nominate a family.
