Hardin Blueberry Farm Blueberries

05/11/2026

We have been asked when the 2026 season is expected to begin. Our norm season usually begins around second week of June however we are starting to see some pink so possibly earlier. We are happy to say that outside of once again loosing few more bushes in the lower patch, the bushes are hanging full this year so hoping that mother nature remains kind this season. We will update as we get closer to our season.

We are looking for someone to prune bushes and do patch clean up this fall. If interested please be in touch.
We have been blessed over the past years to have had great help.
We want to wish Jack Putler all the best as he begins his college years.
Jack begin coming to the patch as a young boy picking bb with his mom and then assisted in many gallons of pre-picked that many of you have purchased. The past few years he has assisted in keeping the patch maintained. Thank you Jack!

We are sad to post but our 2025 season has come to an end. The weather just hasn’t cooperated. We started off with less crop due to late frost and bloom lost in spring storms. Opening week we had 2 flooding rains with storm winds 6/18 causing loss of majority of crop. We still had hopes of having a final round but combination of birds getting them prior to final ripening and now no rain since 6/18 we are left with a very limited crop.
135 gallon picked 2025 vs 584 gal in 2024.
We thank all of you for being a part of our blueberry venture.
Hope to see you 2026.

6/24 Frustrating sums this season up. I wanted to update as I keep getting text asking when we will be open again. I can assure you that if we could we would. 😢 There have been no ripe berries for us to even pick for ourself. As you can see from the pictures just taken, we have berries to ripen on the lower patch but we are not seeing it happen. My only theory is, the berries are turning so slow that the birds are getting them before they actually are ripening. I don’t even understand why with this heat and sun they wouldn’t all turn quicker.
🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ We will continue monitoring and maybe 🤞better days ahead.

6/23 The patch is just not progressing like we had hoped therefore remains closed.
There was 3.5 gal of not easy picking this weekend. With the sun/heat we thought it would be doing good but.., Also concerned that the birds are stripping the bushes as they begin to ripen.
Maybe in couple of days. 🤞

Sat 6/21 we will be closed. 😢
We had thought this to be our biggest picking weekend but the storms changed that. We have several rolls with berries to ripen but we are in the wait pattern again.
And, unfortunately the upper patch is pretty much done. What was turning or even green were blown off.
I will post again when we can open.
