What has LiLo+Co. been up to lately? We're so glad you asked!

This past Tuesday, our owner, Lori Neal Nolen, had the privilege of being a featured speaker at the Tennessee River District of The United Methodist Church Clergy Meeting, which is part of the Tennessee Western Kentucky Conference for The United Methodist Church. This event was held at Lexington First UMC, where Lori joined their Director of Music & Media, Josh Gatlin, in discussing "Screens, Streams, and Teams."

During the talk, she was able to highlight many important questions that small business, non-profits, + individuals have when it comes to having an online presence. Our discussion included the importance of social media as a whole + specifically, for entities such as the Church. Then, she discussed the importance of branding, websites, + effective marketing strategies for social media.

We would like to thank the Tennessee River District Clergy event leadership team for inviting LiLo+Co. to be a part of this great event.

Happy November, friends!

Hearing how we've benefitted our clients never gets old, so we thought we'd kick the month off with some kind words from one of our favorites (p.s. all of our clients are our favorite)!

Need a flyer that matches your brand? We can make that happen for you!

We love the approach Fox Grove Farm + Michelle Conkle Counseling have to bettering your mental health through work with horses. After redesigning her logo (you can spot it on the flyers!), she needed flyers to promote her events that matched her new brand.

If you swipe, you can see a "before" image with old branding. For these new designs, our goal was to showcase all necessary info in a way that was clean, easy to read, matched the new branding, + "felt" calm. To do so, we focused on the gentleness of horses through the photos (PS. you can hire us for that, too!) + used neutral, calm shades of green.

What a pleasure when our team is trusted to create an image to represent someone's business.

It's even more of an honor, when a long-time friend calls you up + says "Lori, you know me. Make this something I'll like + just do whatever you do!" Knowing this client for years, we knew this logo needed to 1) look good on a grey t-shirt, 2) have a sporty, outdoorsy feel, + 3) be able to look amazing as a leather patch on a very specific type of hat (because, everyone knows that the way a hat fits + the bill lays is very important!).

After a few initial choices, it wasn't long before this logo was settled on. We are looking forward to seeing how versatile this design will be for all the endeavors of Mill Creek Management. Check them out for lawn care, landscaping, + home repairs!

Ahhhh, we LOVE Mexican food, anyone else? 🌮 💃

But, we especially love Mi Pueblito Mexican Restaurant- Huntingdon's Mexican food. You know what we also LOVE about Mi Pueblito? That’s the desire they had to take their social media game to the next level! We’ve loved watching them thrive + !

If anyone knows this business + the lady behind it, then you know she loves a good bit of sparkle + anything 'extra!' We helped Haley bring her ideas to life through a complete brand design inspired by her grandmother (Gaga) who raised her to be fancy, yet frugal...She calls it “Gaga Glam!" She approached us wanting assistance with a logo that could work across the board for all her various endeavors...custom creations of distressed denim + ornately adorned jackets to t-shirts, consignment items, + fancy extras. We ended up assisting her with socials + creating a website, too!

We love when we get to work with another creative that knows exactly who she is + can quickly establish with us exactly what her thoughts + style are. Susan has a mind that is always thinking + working toward that next thing. She was looking for a way to give all her residual ventures of an umbrella brand to exist under.

After an initial conversation, she sent us the following definition + photos of some of her favorite architectural pieces that add to the decor she exists amongst everyday.

We went through our normal process: A selection of drafts were sent her way. She narrowed it down + we made a few adjustments + tweaks along the way until she was completely satisfied with the logo. Susan now owns all the proper files, meaning whether she wants to print it on a sales receipt or enlarge it for a billboard, it is ready to go!

This gal is always doing great things, + we are so appreciative that she included us for this one!

Anyone out there keep your event tickets or concert posters as keepsakes?

Special details + good design just make things feel different - a good different! We thoroughly enjoyed this special little project that The Cornerstone Eatery + The Huntingdon Quarterback Club enlisted us to help out with this past summer. We assisted on several design needs, including: poster artwork, ticket design, + the creation of several social media posts to get the word out about their event.
