We will discuss various facets of television production. Writing, Directing,
Producing, Lighting, Camera, etc: The behind the scenes politics of making
connections, networking, pilots, sizzle reels and finances. Mindset and
programming decisions by networks and Executives are additional topics covered.
This course is hosted by Steven Taub an Emmy nominated Producer/Director and winner of Long Island Film Festival. Emmy nomination was for "Laugh a Day" which aired on PBS stations nationally (INCLUDING PBS WNET13 New York, Sponsor Station and PBS KCET Los Angeles).
Appointed to the Suffolk County Film Commission. Appointment by County
Executive Steve Levy and legislative body and served under Steve Bellone.
