From mood board to final logo 🌿

This project for Lauren Kelly Floral Design started with a soft, natural direction and turned into something clean, simple, and easy to use across different pieces of the brand.

I wanted the final logo to feel timeless, but still have a little personality through the linework, color palette, and overall style. It’s always cool seeing how a few early ideas can turn into a full brand identity.

There’s something special about seeing a brand come to life outside of the screen.

I recently stopped by Lauren Kelly Floral Design in Chesapeake Beach, and I honestly left feeling so proud. From the logo and branding details to the colors, business cards, and all of the little touches we worked through together, it was such a full-circle moment seeing everything brought to life in her beautiful new shop.

But beyond the branding, Lauren and her family are simply amazing people. They were so welcoming, thoughtful, and even sent me home with the most beautiful bouquet. It meant so much.

This is why I love what I do. Helping passionate business owners build something meaningful, then getting to watch them open their doors and grow into it.

If you’re local, go show her some love. Stop in, support a small business, and see how beautiful this space truly is. I already know this is just the beginning for her, and I can’t wait to watch her business thrive.

There’s just something about downtown Annapolis this time of year 🎄

Last Thursday was spent walking through the city during Midnight Madness! Christmas lights, music, local vendors, and stopping by to see my amazing clients, Andrew French Art & Market Street Merchants. Seeing Andrew’s artwork framed and displayed alongside cards, coasters, and gift-ready mugs was such a cool thing to experience in person.

If you’re looking for an easy way to get out of the house and feel a little more in the holiday spirit, Midnight Madness is back this Thursday from 6–11 PM.

If you’re in Winston-Salem, Camel City Coffee is the place to grab something festive and support local makers while you’re at it. I tried the Buddy’s Butterscotch Brew and Taylor went for the Prancer’s Peppermint Bark Latte — both so good. The shop is fully decorated for Christmas, with lots of seasonal flavors and shelves of goodies from other small businesses like Mighty Mallow treats, Bee Healthy Bars, candles, stickers, mugs, and more. They even do Shop Small Sunday with discounts on items they sell in-store.

I’ve been working on these custom dog drawings for Lucky Labs Creations and wanted to share a little behind the scenes of the process ✍️🐾

I started with a rough sketch based off the photos and slowly cleaned it up into vector art, which was such a cool project — definitely different from my usual design work, but I love how it turned out!

I always love bringing someone’s brand to life in a way that feels personal. If you’re looking for custom design work, my DMs are always open. ☺️
