Question. What girth do you prefer? Old fashion rope cinch? Teflon? Brands?

Question!?!? ..... i don’t wanna sound stupid. However, I rode my gelding in a bosal today. First time we have ridden bitless in years. I was so happy with how responsive he was to it and how obedient. He didn’t act out throwing his head like he does with a snaffle bit. Is it possible that in spite of my years of riding I have been missing the signs and maybe bitless is the way to go? Can you let me know in the comments if you prefer a bit or bitless and what style you use to on your horse?

For Sale: Big Flashy 13 yo Gelding! AQHA registered. Barn name is Drake. I’ll post his papers when I get home. He’s a looker folks. I haven’t taken a tape to him but I’d put money on that he’s 16hh or bigger. He’s one of our personal riding horses so I’m not in a hurry. In other words no tire kickers. We want him to go to the right home.

He’s in your pocket and very friendly and easy to catch. He has a mane that will grow past his chest if you let it. We trimmed it a little due to wind knots but it’s still long.

Nice walk, trot, canter and gallop. Has a western pleasure amble when asked for it but also has a reining horse handle. Spins, backs, rolls over his hind, side passes and slides to a stop. He’s got a hell of a handle on him folks. They don’t break em like this in this price range anymore.

Quirks:He has a short muscle in his hind leg, (due to being kicked as a foal) that makes it look like his leg is swinging when you first pull him out of the pasture. After you warm him up it goes away. I have signed statements from the vet and chiropractor saying he’s sound and it’s of no concern and won’t affect anything you want to do with him. He has been ranch sorted off by me personally and no issues. He also has to be kept shod due to a week hoof that will cause the hoof wall to pull away. Farrier says it’s fine and will grow out but needs shoes in the mean time so no barefoot homes at least not for the year. We put 28 miles on him last Saturday with no issues.

He’s a pretty confident trail horse but excels in the arena the most. He does occasionally fight ya a little when you are first getting out on the trail but get him away from the barn and he’s fine. Rides quietest in a group. Needs more miles than I have time to put on him.

Asking $3,000 but negotiable to the right home. Also willing to entertain trades for a well broke horse or a three horse trailer. I bought this horse for my better half who doesn’t have a lot of riding experience and we need something a little less tuned. However, I have two of my own so again not in a rush.

Price will go up as I put some more time into him and some shows this years.

Come take him for a spin and see what you think.

** **want this to be your office view?** **
Washington National. My team is growing and im looking to hire 3-5 new sales agents. All the details will be discussed at the interview. If you or someone you know feels like they are in a dead end job, recently graduated college(not required), or returned from the service, I’d be happy to meet with you/them. We have a proven sales system, so previous sales experience is valued but not required. Im looking for someone that LOOKS AT LIFE AS AN OPPORTUNITY, someone who RISES TO THE OCCASION, instead of spending the same amount of time/energy coming up with excuses. We travel 4 days/week in Iowa but off Friday-Sunday each week. We work off commissions and bonuses, so you EARN what your worth. There are multiple members of my team that have earned over $100k in their first year.
The world has a way of rewarding sacrifice.....so if you want MORE in life, and aren’t afraid to work for it, message me to get on the schedule. Feel free to tag someone in the comments

Feel free to email resumes to [email protected] or call 217-430-2782
