On June 19, 1865, Union soldiers reached Galveston, Texas with the news that the enslaved were finally free - more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. That day became a lasting symbol of freedom, perseverance, and the long work of making liberty real for everyone. It's work that continues every day.
As a family business that's called Huntsville home since 1970, we're grateful to be part of a community that keeps showing up for one another. Wishing all our neighbors a meaningful Juneteenth.
