Day One. Or One Day. ๐ There's a lot of complaining about the economy, how things are so different, why small businesses are failing, etc. I'm not here to tell you not to whine about it. But I am here to tell you to starting DOING something about it. Everyone knows there is SOMETHING you should be doing to grow your business. But everyone says, "I'm too busy to do everything." While that's probably true, you need to evaluate your time. Yes, it would be nearly impossible to be the owner, marketing person, customer service rep, inventory taker, hirer and firer, networker and bill payer. But there are components of your business that take precedence. Hire out the necessities of your business to give you the time to focus on your daily "Must Dos." If attending "lunch and learns" isn't paying off in terms of referrals, spend your time connecting with past clients instead. Start up collective marketing with similar businesses in your niche. Account for every minute of your day to maximize your energy and efforts.
