Announcing the YouTube premiere of a project 56 years in the making. Originally a project for a class at IIT, it was shot on 8mm Kodak film in my basement in 1967.
In 2008, after a few failed attempts by others, I got a conversion to AVCHD video by RetiredFilmGuys(.com)
Last year, finally got around to adding sound effects, music, and dialogue (some AI, some recorded live). The spacey sounds were produced by my theremin.
17 year old me was Dr. Sterling Silver - brown shirt, glued on handlebar mustache.😂😅
Original space scenes were plastic models, Version 2 replaced them with CGI (Lightwave 3D from Newtek) composited with Adobe Premiere CS6
