This is why I do what I do. Documenting the people around me is more than just a job; I believe its what God created me for. Documenting everything, big or small, is a significant part of my identity. It was important to me long before I even knew what the concept of wedding content was.
It was important to me when my cousin was killed in a murder su***de a few days before Christmas.
It was important to me when I fell in love with my husband.
It was important to me when I made my first real best friend.
It was important to me when my first real best friend moved across the country.
It was important to me when I noticed my mother’s first grey hairs.
It was important to me when I almost lost my life twice in one year.
It was important to me when I married my husband.
It was important when I took my first steps after 6 months of surgeries and intense physical therapy.
It was important to me when my best friend became a mom for the first time.
It is important to me when my friends reach their goals.
It is important to me when I travel somewhere new.
It is important to me when my nieces hit a new milestone.
It is important to me when my whole family gets together and I remember how long it’ll be until we do it again.
It is important to me when I read about all of the illnesses with memory loss as a symptom.
It is important to me when i read a news story of a tragedy.
And it is important to me when someone trusts me to document the best day of their life.
