It was great to have the opportunity to meet fellow Indianapolis artists and practice photography on the walk hosted by .

The group’s energy was so inspiring, and it was great to be around other photographers and videographers building community & bonding over our shared love of the art!

If you are pursuing a career in art, I highly recommend you read these books. I listened to them on audible (which currently offers $.99 subscription plans for three months & a one month free trial), but you can pick up an electronic or physical copy too!

These three books have immensely encouraged me in my own pursuit of a career in art and helped me realize all artists face the same challenges. The books will help you gain confidence, but also see things realistically for yourself. I personally found myself twice as inspired as before!

My favorite book out of the three is Art in Fear, but all three of them are great complements to each other.

Discover Clover:

Clover is a mixed media artist who fell in love with painting after an academic requirement. Predominately focusing in oils, she is a materialist at heart and loves to experiment with mirrors, ink, string, moss, foam, and more.

Her painting style leans towards a focused simplicity on a single subject within a limited background or blurred context. She believes this mimics the human experience of focusing your eyes to truly take in one element of the larger whole.

Clover is most inspired to paint when a palette with funky colors is before her, a podcast or album is playing, and when she sits down with no expectations. Ultimately, she thrives on impulse and going with the flow when creating art.
