Charlie Williams opened the doors for business at Williams Company on October 1, 1979. By the mid-1980s Gerry Randall finished up his studies at Indiana State University and began his career at Williams Company. When Charlie and Gerry became business partners, our name changed to Williams Randall, and it wasn't long before we expanded to Indianapolis. We still have offices in Terre Haute and Indianapolis and have worn grooves in I-70 between the two cities.

What makes a community a community? This new spot we created answers that question while highlighting Ivy Tech’s impact on Indiana’s communities. Ivy Tech’s VP of Marketing and Communications has said: “Ivy Tech isn’t simply a collection of campuses. It’s part of the fabric of Indiana.” We’d wager that Hoosiers in communities across Indiana couldn’t agree more. Their neighbors—Ivy Tech’s students and alumni—succeeding together. The spot’s original music was written by Indiana musician Mina Keohane and performed by Brett Wiscons.
