🚨Nonprofits face an increasingly uncertain funding landscape.

✅️ Nonprofits are focusing more on storytelling in outreach to donors – both big and small – and raising production values for videos and podcasts.

This is what we have been saying since January 2025. How many more news articles and fund restrictions do Nonprofit Leaders have to see before they take action? If you don’t believe KSD PRO 1, believe it from the AP

🚨 Nonprofits: The Trump administration froze about $6 billion in federal grants nationwide.

First, cuts to the AmeriCorps agency eliminated mentorship programs in Indianapolis, and now there are further setbacks. They also lost grant funding they had relied on for 25 years through the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant program.

This funding reduction jeopardizes financial support for summer camps and after-school programs nationwide. Nearly 926 Boys & Girls Clubs may be forced to close their doors.

🚨The top question nonprofits ask: How much should we budget for video?

Here’s the truth: It depends on your goal. But let’s be clear, video is not an expense, it’s an investment. It’s a long-term asset for your nonprofit organization.

➡️ EXAMPLE: A $2,500 promotional video could bring in $25,000 in new donations when used effectively across email, events, and social media. For every $1 spent on video marketing, nonprofits see an average $7 return on investment (ROI).

✅ DATA: 72% of donors are more likely to give after watching a video about a nonprofit's work. Emotional storytelling through video can increase donations by up to 38%.

🚨 $350,000 grant cut this year from the EPA 🚨

Federal grant cuts are putting a financial strain on a food pantry. Food to Power will not cut any food resources, but it is scaling back its education programs and pausing the youth summer internship. Last year, they served 21,000 more people than the year before.

Since January 2025, funding cuts have been happening, and they’re hitting hardest where it hurts the most: programming, staffing, sustainability, and the community.

Changes in federal and state policies have reduced access to grant funding, especially for organizations working in areas labeled as “underserved” or “marginalized.” Some of these cuts are due to the language used in grant applications or your nonprofit's mission. These banned or trigger words are now causing entire funding streams to vanish.

Since January 2025, funding cuts have been happening, and they’re hitting hardest where it hurts the most: programming, staffing, sustainability, and the community that each nonprofit serves.

Here’s the Data:
➡️ 62% of nonprofits are at risk of grant cuts.
➡️ Grant disruptions have tripled since February 2025.
➡️ Federal grant cuts to nonprofits total at least $12.07 billion.

Some of these cuts are due to the language used in grant applications or your nonprofit's mission. These banned or trigger words are now causing entire funding streams to vanish.

🚨 $37,670,900 in Federal Grants Cuts 🚨

A total of 37 local organizations in Michigan offer various services, including food assistance, crisis hotlines, education, and economic support. However, the grant funding for the 2024 fiscal year competition has been delayed or threatened, making it difficult for housing organizations to sustain their operations.

➡️ $222 million in annual funds are now at risk.
➡️ 717 local jobs are at risk.
➡️ 96,775 individuals are at risk of service loss.
