I’m definitely heartbroken that we’ve had to make the very difficult decision to close our childcare ministry. Especially as I’m sitting here looking at the GA news and two incidents have been reported. One, a babysitter abusing the children in her care!! And another one, a school childcare putting “sleepy stickers” on the children at nap time.! These stickers have melatonin and other drugs in them and the children were having side effects!

I know that God has a purpose and a plan for Mel’s Academy Inc. I may not understand at this time, and it’s frustrating, but I trust HIM!
Lord I trust You through this difficult time! This time of confusion and sadness! I know that JOY comes in the morning!

As I’v been dealing with a few challenges, I’ve been on a much needed rest from social media. I’ve been prayerfully seeking guidance, understanding, and wisdom from God as I’ve continued to meditate on His word during this time. I am thankful for His love and compassion, and His grace and His mercy that He continues to show me even when I am doubtful. As I continue to seek His face, I ask that you all will say a little prayer for me. Sometimes the one who tries to stay strong, needs the fervent prayers of the righteous. I love God with all my heart, my soul, my mind, and everything within me. And just as importantly, I love each one of you dearly. And I will continue to pray for you as well.
