Want your business to be the top-listed Advertising & Marketing Company?
For over 55 years, members of the Wagner family have been creating signs for customers all over Indianapolis and beyond. In 1961, Gene Wagner started a small, part-time business making hand-painted signs in a building in his backyard. By 1992, that little backyard business, where signs were meticulously hand-lettered, became Wagner Signs, a technology-driven, state of the art, full service sign company. Wagner Signs’ other founders and first employees were Gayle Wagner, Gene’s wife, and Todd Wagner, his son. Each brought their own talents and ideas to propel the business forward. Gayle brought her creativity and organizational skills to the company, and did everything from sign design to book keeping. Todd contributed his mechanical engineering background to solve tricky design and installation challenges. Todd still loves creating solutions to customers’ challenges and today, oversees the entire business, including operations, sales and installations. As the business grew, other family members joined the staff at Wagner Signs, adding their own professional expertise and dedication. In 1991, Cris Wagner Mahern enhanced the family business with her background in advertising and public relations. Beth Wagner McMinn followed in 2005, adding her financial background to uphold the company’s fiscal integrity. For the last few years, Todd’s son, Jack, has spent time installing and assembling signs to help pay for college. Today, Wagner Signs employs 13 people, and although they are not all Wagners by birth, they are invaluable members of the Wagner Signs family. In their quest to exceed customer expectations, this group of dedicated employees has become bound by not only purpose, but friendship. Wagner Signs has grown from a one man, backyard shop to a leader in the sign industry, providing expert signs solutions to a diverse customer base all over the country.
