Jessica Proffitt-Bracken believes that motherhood is a journey rooted in unconditional love, patience, and purpose. “It’s the most rewarding role I’ve ever had and one that constantly teaches me strength, grace, and selflessness. Motherhood has shaped the way I see the world and reminds me daily of the importance of nurturing, supporting, and showing up for the people we love”, says Jessica.
As one of our dedicated Foundation Development board leaders, those values were first modeled by her mother, Donna, whose kindness, resilience, and unwavering support for both family and community left a lasting impact. Through her example came a deep understanding of compassion, service, and the power of creating a sense of home wherever you are.
That same compassion now shapes the way Jessica leads and serves others. Motherhood has strengthened her ability to listen, connect, and lead with empathy — always mindful of the impact we can make for future generations and the importance of supporting families through every season of life.
After experiencing the beautiful birth of her daughter, Stella, she felt called to give back to the organization that cared so deeply for her family. That experience inspired her involvement with the Foundation and deepened her passion for supporting exceptional healthcare close to home.
