So when Halloween is over, what you gonna do with Jack? Try recycling, ok so no you can't make something new from him or can you?

Take poor Jack down to edge of your yard and leave him for the wildlife. Squirrels, foxes, birds, deer all love pumpkin. Since food is becoming more scarce at this time of year they will love the treat that your Halloween decoration will give them. Note: if you have used WD-40 as a preservative this may not be the best of ideas). Make sure to remove the candle and anything the candle may have been in or on. Next year make sure to share the insides and seeds the birds and fall butterflies love these. Who knows you may have a few pumpkins sprout up.

Composting used pumpkins make a great addition just be sure to break it up so it will mix in quicker, faster and easier.
