So why would you need a social media manager?

Most people I come across that need help simply say, “I don’t get social media and I don’t have time to learn it but I know my business needs it.”

Social media is a whole other world and language and can be confusing to understand. As a business owner, it takes a lot of time from your to do list just to even plan out content and post.

Hey there, I’m Nikka Gabrielle 🤍 I am a full-time content creator and business owner.

I know there are some new faces here so wanted to share a bit of my journey as a Social Media Manager.

I began content creation in 2014 doing YouTube while I was still finishing my undergrad in college. Since then I started learning more about the influencer industry and the world of social media. It was all so interesting and fun to me! ☺️

I graduated with a bachelors in Marketing in 2016 and started to apply what I learned at school to my jobs and my side hustle as an influencer/content creator.

On my creator account , I’ve been so lucky to work with my dream brands and share all my favorite things to the community I’ve built online. 💕

I started Socials By Nikka just last year to share my knowledge in social media with aspiring content creator and businesses!

I never thought that even just a year in I would have the opportunity to work with such amazing clients, have the ability to quit my 9-5, and finally have the work-life balance I always dreamed of! ✨

It’s been over a year since I’ve posted on this account 😱

As a SMM, this is obviously a big no-no. But forgive me. I’m back and I’ve missed you! It’s been a whole journey these past few months but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Busy juggling clients and balancing freelance life. A few updates:

- In July of 2021, I quit my 9-5 job to pursue content-creation () and run my social media management business full-time! 🎉

- Stepped away from strictly Virtual Assistant services and am now focusing on Social Media Management with an emphasis on branding consulting. ✨

Happy April 1st! Spent most of today planning out dusting off my planner and getting myself organized for the new month. As much as I love the digital space, there’s something about putting pen to paper that makes things feel so official!

I like using am mix of both to have my information in two places and to help me stay organized. This monthly planner by that I have is completely blank so I can really customize it to my liking. I love still using a classic planner bc it helps me look at my month overall. I can clearly see which days are super busy and what days I have more of a clearer schedule. I then take the most important things from my month and input them on my phone calendar in case I need to look at my schedule when I’m on the go. I use the same method for my to-do lists! One physical list and priority items go on my Notes app on my phone and MacBook!
