Okay, we're done. And did we pull a switcheroo or what? We completely changed the bottom car, going from a preliminary green to a wonderful blue. But we couldn't obliterate the green color completely, so we moved it to the top classic.

I like the muscle car a lot, being from that generation. The lightning reflections on the windshields are a nice little extra, this is the Thunderfest show, you know, as is the orange on the license plate, being that Covina and oranges go hand-in-hand.

Ok, we're moving along nicely; the design is looking pretty good; here's the updated image. You'll note the 2nd car is pretty much complete, tackling the top one. I really like the fine details in these designs. A lot of time is invested, once the initial sketch is completed and then going back and going back again.

Oops, let's do this or change that...it's a process.

On day 3, we have an update. Our great graphic artist made a few adjustments and tweaks, and here's the latest rendering.

You'll note the bottom car is a little more finished with some highlights and detail; note the chrome wheels. The middle car is also a little more developed. Starting out as red, ultimately, who knows? It depends on how the composition looks in total.

Just starting the top car. We'll take a break and get back to it on Monday. Have a great weekend, everyone.

Okay, day 2. Here's where we're at. We've got the logo concept pretty much colored in; of course, things can change, and they almost always do. We're starting to color the bottom car; a green might work.

Remember that this is the base color; effects, tones, gradients, etc., have yet to be implemented.

We start with the basic outline, color things in, and add effects as needed.

It may not look much yet, but when finished, I think it will be a pretty nice design.

At this point, we're also considering shirt colors. We always offer white and black, but we're unsure of the third color yet.

Tune in tomorrow for Phase 3.

And guess what? We're doing the shirts again this year. I thought it might be fun to show you the steps of a design. Here's the initial sketch. We always start with a sketch rendering and then of course, add to it, tweak it, and sometimes even change it.

I'll update you on the progress tomorrow. We will have these available at the event, so stop by and see us. We'll be right on Citrus Ave.
