Exciting Leadership Update at Group G Marketing Partners

We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of Christopher Long, our Vice President of Account Services, to the role of Managing Partner at Group G Marketing Partners.

As Managing Partner, Chris joins the agency ownership team and will play a key role in shaping our strategic direction, strengthening our internal structure, and continuing to elevate the client experience we’re known for. Since joining Group G in 2013, Chris has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, deep client insight, and a passion for growth—both for our agency and our partners. The Commanders take October! We held our 3rd Annual Wiffle Ball Challenge last week and the Commanders took the tiebreaker, winning 4-2 in a close game against the Defenders. It felt like playoff baseball at our "ballpark" this year complete with great ballpark food, our own announcers booth, walk-up songs, trading cards for all the players, and a lively spectator section. A very special thank you to our friends at Bradford White for joining us in this fun-filled event!

This past Thursday our team spent the day volunteering for the Heritage Conservancy by helping remove invasive plant species. We spent the day weeding, mulching, putting protective netting around native species and more! We hope you all take a little time today and everyday to do something good for the environment. Happy Earth Day!

In anticipation for our 25th anniversary celebration, we asked our team to share a favorite Group G memory. One of our founding partners, Greg, reminiscences on the early days at Group G, when the office was a small bedroom!

“When we started Group G back in June 1998, we used a spare room in Geff’s house as our office. It was a way for us to get started. Then we soon moved into part of an 18th century barn in Warminster that had been in the family of our founding partner, Scott Sinkler. It was perfect for the 3 of us and we ended up having 5 or 6 people in there, which was a bit tight. It is fitting that our current office in the old Ivyland schoolhouse is literally a block and a half away from Geff’s house. So it is almost like we have come full circle in 25 years.”

Where were you in 1998? Some of us were playing with trucks, getting married or visiting the Empire State Building!

For Group G, we were just getting started! What began in a small room in a barn has grown quite a bit over the past 25 years. We're really looking forward to celebrating, with our official 25th anniversary date coming up in June!
