Derick was not able to take the chemo treatment that they wanted to give him, instead it was decided that radiation treatment was needed. The tumor has gotten quite a bit larger in just a week, so they are hoping to shrink it and give him some pain relief. He has to be back at 7:00 AM this morning to radiology. We ask a lot for prayers, but that’s how Derick is surviving and being able to endure, and tbh that’s how we are doing the same. Thank you all for keeping up with his journey and truly praying to our precious Jesus!!! Oh, and have I mentioned that I love Him (Jesus)!!!!!!

Derick has had scans, tests, and all sorts of things this week to prepare for TIL treatments coming up. Today we are in Sevierville getting x rays and ct scan. Still be in prayer for him for strength and less pain as they get him ready for this procedure. Thank you all in advance. We serve a great almighty Savior 🙏🙏🙌🙌

We had the privilege to do backpacks and lunch bags for students and some random items for teachers and staff members to get the year started off right!!! In this I’m asking everyone, let’s pray for all of our kiddos, teachers and all staff members for a blessed, safe school year. That the Lord would lead, guide and use each one for His glory.
Just think about it…… When you send your child to school or wherever, He’s the only one that can keep them safe, healthy, and happy. Let’s honor and give Him the praise 🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌

Prayers for my brother this morning as he gets results of his PET scan from Tuesday. When Derick was little a horrible accident almost took his life. As dad went home to get on his knees to cry out to our Father, our mom kept returning to a verse in the Bible, ( Isaiah 41:10). This morning as I sit here, I turn to that same verse……. “Fear Thou not, for I am with the: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” No matter what may come, He is mighty, merciful and gives peace beyond measure. Thank you all for your prayers and support 🙏🙏
