If you are a farmer in Michigan, you know what the greatest threats to your livelihood are. But do your friends, neighbors and fellow voters understand what you do and the challenges you face?

When it comes time to vote on the issues, will they know that overly restrictive water-usage regulations and the decreased supply (and therefore increased cost) of land due to solar fields are threatening the future of your family farm?

The variety of businesses Social Sound works with makes our work fun. Every client is different. Every day is different. But over the past few years, our number of agricultural clients has grown: Midwest Water Stewards, Main Farms and Iott Seed Farms. We love working with them.

Farmers care about the environment and are constantly striving to be better caretakers of the resources that allow them to feed an ever-growing world population. We believe it is important to educate fellow Michigan residents about what is happening on farms across the state. So do the ag-related clients we work with.

Those clients are leaders in the industry. They didn't hire Social Sound to get them more customers. Their ROI is having more people understand the work they do, how they do that work and the challenges they face. The work we do together not only helps their friends and neighbors understand what is happening on their farm, it educates voters on what is happening on farms across the state.

Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning is a huge supporter of the Cascades Humane Society and a ton of other causes and events in the Jackson community. Kudos to them for sponsoring pet adoptions through the Cascades Humane Society. Social Sound is proud to work with the Lammers team.

Great news! Ash, the Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning "Warm Your Home" Pet of the Month, has found a home! Thanks so much to Allison for adopting Ash from the Cascades Humane Society this week. Lammers Heating & Air Conditioning was happy to pay the adoption fee. We can see the smile on Allison's face even with the mask on. We're all smiling, too!

Look for another "Warm Your Home" Pet of the Month soon. (We're not going to wait until March to do it again.)

There are several reasons to respond politely and professionally to online reviews. It demonstrates good customer service. This is a result of the good people at Avery Oil & Propane, Inc. helping the good people at Youth Haven raise some money to do good work in our community. Kudos to everyone involved!

The Avery Oil & Propane team would like to say thank you so very much to all of you who contributed in our matching program to support Youth Haven throughout the month of December. Our customers, friends and neighbors in southern Michigan donated more than $1,600 to Youth Haven through that program.

Avery Oil & Propane pledged to match up to $2,500 in donations and dropped off the check for that full amount last week. So all in all, the program raised $4,103.99 to be used to provide great opportunities for children in our community. Thank you so very much for supporting this wonderful, local cause.
