Yesterday afternoon, we had the opportunity to join the Greater Jackson Chamber for their Bites, Brews, and Clues Emerging Leaders event at Central Distributors, Inc.

We toured the facility, connected with fellow emerging leaders, and wrapped up the event with a Jackson industry guessing game where Hannah confidently reminded us that sometimes the answer is absolutely not on the tip of your tongue until approximately 30 seconds too late.

We appreciate the Greater Jackson Chamber for creating opportunities like this that bring young professionals together and give all of us a reason to laugh at ourselves a little too.

Happy work anniversary to Cory VanBlaricom, the man responsible for turning spreadsheets and information into something the rest of us can actually understand.

As part of our research division, Cory helps keep projects moving with the kind of detail and focus that makes a real difference behind the scenes. He’s dependable and somehow manages to stay calm as one of the few men in an office full of strong-willed women, fast-moving conversations, and usually at least three people talking at once.

He’s also found a way to work the Memphis Grizzlies into more conversations than any of us thought possible. We’re glad he’s on our team and glad someone around here is helping us keep up with the Grizzlies season. Happy anniversary, Cory.

Chloe recently joined Younger Associates as a Digital Creative Specialist, with a strong foundation in graphic design and a natural fit for the work we do every day. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to present updated housing study findings to the Greater Jackson Chamber’s Forward Jackson investors.

Dr. Sharon Younger shared a data-driven look at how Jackson’s growth is shaping housing demand and what it will take to keep pace. Building on our previous study, this update reflects both the progress already made and the work still ahead as the region continues to evolve.

Happy birthday to Kayla Taylor, the reason things get done around here!

She keeps the clients happy, the projects moving, and the rest of us exactly where we’re supposed to be. The calls, the decisions, the details no one else sees, she carries it all with a level of focus and follow-through that sets the tone for all of us.

Bossy? Maybe. Right? Also yes. We’d be lost without her, truly, and we’re better because of her leadership and the way she shows up for this team every single day.
