22,000 people. Remember Clay Crosse? What about the others?!
So many ministry leaders gathered in Orlando this week for the Southern Baptist Convention.
But when I look back at these photos, I don’t see a crowd. I see friends.
People I’ve served alongside. Clients who became friends. Ministry leaders making a difference in their communities. Communication professionals helping churches be heard. Pastors, worship leaders, strategists, creatives, and partners all faithfully serving the Kingdom.
It was especially good to reconnect with Clay Crosse. Many remember the Dove Awards, the concerts, and the songs that filled Christian radio in the ‘90s. Today, he’s faithfully serving as a Worship Pastor in Florida. Different platform. Same heart.
❤️
Over four days, Tammy and I spent nearly 30 hours in the Expo Hall at the Be Known For Something booth. We had 100s of conversations about church clarity, communication, branding, outreach, and helping churches connect with their communities.
Our feet hurt. Our voices are tired. Our bodies are feeling every one of those hours.
But our hearts are full.
WARNING: Photo dump ahead. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared your story, encouraged us, challenged us, laughed with us, took a selfie, grabbed a book, or simply said hello.
These photos are just a small sample of the people who made this week special. And honestly, there are dozens more I wish I’d remembered to get a picture with.
One of the greatest gifts of ministry is the people God allows you to serve alongside.
Grateful for every conversation. Looking forward to the next one.
