Cush Communications was on location today at my client, . This visit was at the flagship Ridgefield, CT campus. I spent time with dynamic GPA CEO Lee-Anne Gilchrist and her colleague Kim Polley Genzburg, the Executive Director of USA Junior Golf Federation. I got a tour of the world class facilities their lucky student athletes in grades 7 to 12 access daily. What looks the coolest to you? The indoor putting lab, the outfitted gym, the cozy student cottages, or the immaculate short game course? After we met, Lee-Anne crushed a podcast interview. Right after Mother's Day, I get to share a story that I wrote and was just published in the May 2026 issue of about Laura Patrick a mom of three and owner of . Last night, Cush Communications savored a delightful professional networking event at Lynda’s at the Ocean Club. Thanks to the Womens Food Alliance for throwing this awesome 13th anniversary extravaganza. I’m glad I brought my plus-one, so he could see why I’m so thrilled to be part of this dynamic group, even though I’m fairly new to it. Hospitality is pumping through my veins, thanks to both of my grandfathers. So I truly appreciate and respect what these creative and hardworking women accomplish each and every day. I especially enjoyed reconnecting with Lynda and Mary Jane, two of the legendary Culhane sisters of 5 Sisters Spirit Vodka and Culhanes Irish Pub. Bonus: Who doesn’t love receiving a business card on a cookie?🍪🤯 😋

When business women get together to brainstorm and support each other’s success over good food and drink, the results are extraordinary. Last night, I attended my first event as a new member of at . We mixed and mingled, shared stories, sought advice, and left with new friends. My only regret is not photographing the insanely delicious homemade cannoli cale that baked for us.
