Hey friends, my friend Amy and her husband have a local construction company and they are in this years Badger Craftsman Awards contest. So my ask is two things:

I wasn’t going to do cards. Because I just don’t love cards. They get thrown away. It’s kinda a waste. However, I did decide to make it happen with a QR code that will link folks to me in multiple ways. There will be socials stuff, my personal stuff and even the Bloomin bean! Super simple. To the point. Boom done.

Let’s be honest… most small business pages are losing customers without realizing it.

Not because their product or service isn’t good. But because their page looks inactive.

People visit a business page and see:
• No recent posts
• No useful content
• No engagement
And they move on.
The businesses that grow online are usually the ones who stay visible.
Simple things like:

What if I told you one of the fastest ways to grow your brand has nothing to do with selling and everything to do with sharing 👀

If you feel like you do not have enough content yet start with something simple and powerful talk about the local businesses you already love ☕💇‍♀️⛽

Think about it your favorite coffee shop the gas station with the friendliest staff the salon that always gets it right these are all stories worth sharing 💬💛

When you post about local businesses you are doing a few important things at once you are supporting someone in your community you are giving your audience REAL recommendations and you are showing up consistently without always talking about yourself 🙌

And here is where it gets really good 👇

Over time this builds trust People start to see you as someone who knows the area someone who has great taste and someone who genuinely wants others to win!

That is when the messages start coming in. But it takes time. Be patient. This is a must!

Do you know a good hairstylist?
Where should I grab lunch?
Who would you recommend for this?

And just like that you have become the go to person in your community 🔑

This is especially powerful if you are just starting your own business because you may not have a ton of your own content yet but you are still showing up you are still providing value and you are still building your brand!

Supporting others does not take away from your growth it actually strengthens it 💪🏼🤝

Start sharing the places you love tag them talk about your experience be real about it Your consistency builds credibility and that credibility creates opportunities !

There are people right here in our community who are incredibly talented at what they do… and most people have no idea they exist.
I am talking, hair stylists, lawn care crews, pool cleaners, builders, makers, small shop owners, food spots, smoothie bars, construction, woodworking, interior design, restaurants, small businesses galore… people pouring their time, energy, and heart into what they offer every single day. And still… they go unseen.
That part never sits right with me.
Because I know what goes into it. The long days, the pride in your work, the way you show up for people again and again. And somehow, you’re still not the one getting noticed. Not because you’re not good enough, but because you’re not showing up where people are actually looking.
Meanwhile, someone else with less experience and less care is getting the attention simply because they’re visible. That’s the part that stings. And I get it. Social media feels overwhelming, time consuming, and honestly frustrating. It starts to feel like something you have to keep up with instead of something that could actually help you.
But it doesn’t have to feel that way. This is where my heart is. Helping local businesses and services be seen. Helping you understand Facebook in a way that finally makes sense. Helping you stop dreading it and start seeing the value in it. This is something I genuinely love to do. It’s a gift I have, and it’s time I start sharing it even further than my immediate circle. Because you deserve to be found. Your work deserves to be noticed. And your community deserves to know you’re here.
