Our Interstate Logos office in Jefferson City, MO is now hiring a new management team member to help us enhance the Interstate Logo Program in the state of Missouri. The Assistant General Manager assists the General Manager (GM) in the overall administration, management, sales, and operations of the Interstate Logos programs.

To be considered for this position, you must be willing to relocate for future opportunities.

Compensation Overview:

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 / annually, dependent on relevant experience and skills.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed individual sales targets by targeting every eligible business within the assigned territory/account list, and identifying potential growth areas
Execute innovative, multi-tiered marketing plans, including direct contact with clients through face-to-face marketing
Participate in quarterly management trainings, as well as weekly/monthly sales meetings, seminars, and trade shows
Assist in monitoring customer payments and collections
Assist in the completion and compilation of data, and review all reports required by the Department of Transportation (DOT)
Review site plans, as-builts (check to ensure correct location and specifications), and work orders
Ensure vehicles, office, and grounds are being properly maintained in accordance with company policies
When applicable, responsible for initial and on-going training of Account Executives, including participating in marketing presentations to assist in identifying and implementing specific marketing strategy for maximum market pe*******on
Respond to and provide resolution for any questions or concerns by Program participants (customers)
Ensure compliance with Program rules and regulations, quality of workmanship, and the overall quality of company performance
When applicable, work with Field Tech/Operations Manager on scheduling, providing oversight, conducting safety observations, etc.
Complete Special Projects as assigned by the General Manager
Step in as General Manager when necessary
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
College degree preferred
If no degree, 4 years of industry experience required
2 years of prior management experience preferred

Purpose:

Self-Organization:

Position Purpose:

The purpose of the Interstate Logo Sign Installer (i.e. Field Technician) position is to complete the necessary field operations tasks, such as installing and removing interstate logo signs and/or TODS (Tourist-oriented directional signing). These are the “blue signs” that direct motorists to gas, food, lodging, camping and attractions along the interstate. This entry-level, full time position often works alone and must be able to manage work schedules effectively.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Installation and removal of interstate logo signs via bucket truck
Minor sign repair and sign maintenance
Vegetation control (site clearing) related to the ground mounted signs including removal of trees, brush, weeds, etc.
Attend safety meetings monthly
Organization and cleaning of warehouse space and supply yard area
Travel 90% by vehicle. Overnight travel required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Ability to work independently along side of highway.
Effectively manage time and navigate planned routes.
Work safely and implement traffic control devises to ensure safe working environment.
Comfortable working at heights and the occasional use of ladders.
Good verbal and written skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid driver’s license required
Familiar with the use and maintenance of power/manual tools, basic construction equipment and machinery preferred.
