Got to spend Friday with Megan at Midwest Behavioral Health working on a fun addition to everything she’s got going on already! (Sneak peek in the second photo 🤩) I also got to check out all the progress made in the office and the logo I finished back in September - that logo looks so sharp on the window (shoutout to Jen at ShineOn designs for the vinyl work!) Looking forward to adding more to the window illustrations in the next week or two. Keep an eye out for more cool stuff from Megan - this woman is doing great things!

I’ve been working on a few fun projects this year, and this is the most recent! Book cover design is a new service that’s been added to the Little Blue arsenal this year. I may or may not have a book of my own coming soon 👀

Ashley is a friend and local author here in Jefferson, and has written several books! This is her newest title, “The Thing about being Broken”. Be on the lookout for her new book on Amazon and in a couple of local shops!

Hello! I haven’t introduced myself in a while, and the first day of fall is the perfect excuse to post a picture with pumpkins and a flannel 🍁

My name is Lyndsey Wathen and I am the owner and designer for Little Blue Design Co! I am currently based out of Jefferson, Iowa - a small town in central Iowa that gives off strong Stars Hollow vibes
I live here with my handsome husband, Tyler, and our sweet pup, Goober. I am a part time barista at the local coffee shop and I help out at our local screen printing place when they need an extra set of hands.

My favorite things include dogs, ice cream, hanging out in sweats watching Netflix, following Jesus, and spending time with friends and family.
—
My favorite kind of design work is small business branding, but I also really enjoy designing event collateral like wedding stationery and t-shirts. I always do my best to design in an environmentally conscious way by using recycled materials and/or cutting down on actual print material (my own business cards are made of recycled cotton t-shirts!)
—
