Community is everything 💕 We had the best time at ’s Black History Month mixer and honestly, the energy in that room was everything. From the moment guests walked in, it was clear this was thoughtfully done - gorgeous florals, seamless flow, stunning photo moments, and so many incredible people who truly showed up for one another.

The gift bags felt like a love letter to discovery — , , , , , , Bananagrams — and shoutout to for gifting the first 50 guests with new kicks. (Yes, people arrived on time. Noted.)

Founded by and operating its own manufacturing facility in Baltimore, Oyin Handmade has built ownership into the brand’s DNA from day one - protecting formula integrity, staying resilient through supply-chain disruptions, and investing in the local community along the way.

, whose parent company McBride Research Laboratories is one of the few Black-owned beauty companies with in-house R&D and manufacturing at scale, is proof that supply-chain ownership is a long game - and a powerful one.
