A little heads up before Q4 kicks off! 🍂

Our office will be closed today, September 22nd through October 1st for our annual pre-Q4 "slow down". Every year right before the chaos of Q4 starts, we take a little time to breathe, reset, and spend some extra time with our families. It has become one of my favorite traditions.

We will still be working some behind the scenes during this time (and if you're a client of course everything will be taken care of as normal), but we will not be taking calls, responding to emails right away, or onboarding new clients until we are back.

If you need to reach us, please know we will get back to you when we return on October 2nd.

We are so excited for what Q4 has in store for our clients this year. But first, a little rest. See you in October! 🧡

Say it louder for the people in the back. 👆

We are living in a time where AI can generate a caption, write a blog post, and schedule your content before you even finish your morning coffee.

Which means the businesses that are still showing up with a real voice, real stories, and real personality are standing out more than ever. Not because they are doing something flashy, but because they are doing something rare...something authentic...something relatable.

Your audience is smart. They can feel the difference between content that was written by a person who actually cares and content that was just generated and pushed out. And when they find someone who feels real, they stick around. I'm seeing more and more of this each time I open my laptop...

For example- a large local page is using hand drawn, crayon colored photos for their page and guess what....their page is growing leaps and bounds. Sounds crazy huh? It's working because it stands out from a sea of AI generated images that all look the same.

If you have been second-guessing whether your voice is "enough," I want you to hear this. It is not just enough. Right now, it is your biggest advantage. 🤗

I have had two new clients come to me in the last month with the same problem. Their Pinterest traffic had started to drop and after digging in, we found the same culprit both times. They had been using AI-powered tools to generate pins, and even though they were using their own images, Pinterest had started flagging their content as AI-modified.

Once that happens it is a much harder hole to climb out of than most people realize. 😬

I am not saying you can never use tools to help with your workflow. But if you are relying on automation or AI features to generate your pins, please watch your analytics closely. Keep an eye on impressions, saves, and outbound clicks. If you see a drop across the board that you cannot explain, your pin quality may be getting flagged.

The safest approach is to make sure you are also consistently creating and designing fresh pins manually alongside any automated tools.

This is actually one of the reasons I keep everything fully manual for my clients. Every single pin I create is designed by hand, no AI generation involved. It takes more time, but it protects the account and keeps the content original and on brand.

I have been pinning Q4 content for our clients since July. Let that sink in for a second...

Pinterest is a search engine, not social media. The content going up right now is what buyers are going to find in October and November when they are actively searching, planning, and purchasing. That is not an exaggeration, that is just how the platform works.

Every year the window gets shorter and every year I watch business owners realize too late that they should have started sooner. Q4 is the most powerful time of year on Pinterest and the absolute worst time to be starting from scratch. If you want your content in front of people while they are ready to buy, that strategy needed to be in place yesterday. 🎄

Summer slump? Not on this account. 🌿

5.07 million impressions, 109K outbound clicks up 75%, engagements up 37%, saves up 42%. And every single metric moved in the right direction over the last 90 days.

What I love most about these results is that this is not one viral pin carrying the account. This is an overall uplift across the board. That is what consistent, intentional strategy looks like over time. No shortcuts, just steady work paying off.

This is a food and recipe blog I have had the pleasure of working with for a long time now and I genuinely cannot wait to see what Q4 brings for this account. Pinterest was made for this niche heading into the holiday season and we are ready for it. 🎄

One of my absolute favorite parts of this job is getting to celebrate alongside my clients. And September is giving us a lot to celebrate already.

This month I have clients with cookbook launches, clients who are finalists for the JC Press Best of the Best 2026 awards, clients launching brand new products, and several who just hit their best revenue months ever. I could not be more proud of every single one of them.

I know the internet can feel like a lot of doom and gloom sometimes. But I really do think there is something powerful about sharing in each other's wins. It is encouraging. It is a reminder that good things are happening, and that hard work pays off.
